Recommended Posts

:whoo:I really can't believe that. I met a coworker today ,we have spoke non the phone and through email for months.I have told her about my surgeries in the past. Well today I decided to go and meet her face to face. She saw me and said oh,my aren't you the skinny little thing..

I had to give her a hug THat felt great. at my surgeons office they have a saying nothing tastes as good as thin feels. I understand that today.

Just had to let everyone here know ... someone called me skinny today:bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

That's fabulous, I can only imagine how great that would have felt. Get used to it! I'm told that it happens a lot when you bump into people who haven't seen you for a while. Enjoy every minute!

Well congratulations on the new skinny you.. I called someone skinny on another thread and she was offended and thought I was bitchy.. OH well, we can't please everyone all the time..

But doesn't it feel great?? I remember people would tell me and I loved it but aometimes it didn't seem real.. And my little brother, who called me fattie all my life, saw me and told me, Man you look so skinny and it made me cry.. never been so happy in my life.

thanks it is amazing . I had a doctor tell me that he could never imagine me being overweight and they want to see the pictures as proof. When I show the picture, they want to recommend patients . I give thanks daily to the wonderful people that have helped me reach this place

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
