So happy and so grateful...I no longer have to stalk the financing and insurance forum!!! They said yes!

Congratulations!! How late no did it take to get your surgery date after your insurance approved it?

Also, I've been calling daily, it's been 12 days. Is there anything I can do to help move it along??

Thanks!!!! And best wishes!!

Best wishes!

So I got the call yesterday and lucky for me there was another patient who had to cancel and that's how the November 14 date became available....the other dates were very few and far between. The reason given was holiday schedules. Believe me I wish I could schedule it for tomorrow. I guess it's tricky this time of year so you have to pause and say to yourself at least you got the approval and your done with all of those preliminary appointments...that too (at least for me) seemed like it was such a long way out...but really time does fly and we'll be on our way to check in on surgery day.

I would still call everyday and see if there was a cancellation that you can slide into...just blame it on your excitement. I'm sure they're completely used to it. Are you already assigned to a specific surgeon?
I do try to pass the time reading all of the forums on here .[emoji4][emoji12]

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
