I just took my Xanax so I'll be sleepy soon. Getting up at like 3:30 to get showered and ready to go.

You guys will do great!! 5 days post op and I don't regret my decision one bit. I highly recommend you take a heating pad with you for your back!! It was so comforting for me after surgery :) Good luck everyone!

Good luck to all of us today! I just arrived at the hospital

Everything went well. I'm just a little sore. Seems like I'll get to go home today though.

Mine went well. Very sore and having trouble regulating my blood pressure. Hopefully going home tomorrow

Mine went well, pretty sore and haven’t been able to walk around because of dizziness and light headed whenever I stand or sit on the end of the bed. Looks like I’ll be here a second night

Stay as long as you need to (or as long as your insurance policy or wallet will let you.

Don't be in a rush to leave. 99% of people are better served by being in the hospital where all the support is.

I had my sleeve surgery Oct 16, at 7:30, I came home yesterday, but I should have stayed an extra night, cause my pain and nausea were really bad. I even called my doctor last night I was hurting so bad. He said as long as I'm keeping what little I take in down it would get better. Doing a little better today. But every sip whether it be pain meds, water, etc. it causes my stomach to grurle, then a sharpe pain, which goes away pretty quick and then a constant ache.

Surgery was at 7:30 and was out of recovery in my room by noon. Only hit the pain pump in recovery but more because my back really hurt. No pain and I was up and walking regularly. No sleep to speak of. Tuesday started clear liquids with no problem and was discharged by 1:30pm. Came home and mostly drank water and slept. Up today and I feel fine started full liquids and supplements. Well on my fluid and protein goals, no pain, no nausea, no vomiting. So far, so good. My support network says I'll have bad days, and I don't doubt that, but I'm off to a good start
