Can’t stop crying

This is my third day post op and I’m so depressed. My boyfriend is here walking around like I don’t exist. I’m crying from physical and mental pain. You would think after seeing me lying here he would ask how I’m doing or if I need anything. Not him..I just don’t know what to do at this point....just needed to vent since he’s not talking to me..

He left the house?? It is starting to sound like not just hormones but him being unsupportive uncaring jerk, to excuse my frankness. First nail is not coming to hospital, then walking out when trying to give your struggles, right after you have major surgery?? Most people don't understand how major it is but that is supposed to be your partner and pillar of support regardless if he agreed with the decision or not. [emoji36][emoji35]

Yeah tell me about it. Thanks so much to everyone for letting me vent...

I'm so fortunate that my husband has been so supportive. He totally babies me. However, as much as I love him, if he had acted like your man, I would have kicked him to the curb. Better no man than a man who can't be there for you. BT/DT.

That’s how I lost 230 pounds lol, got rid of my man. 21 years of abuse was enough. I’ve been a single parent for 4 years. I’d rather be single then have a man that doesn’t support me.

AMEN! I think every woman is a member of the #METOO movement. I'm so sorry you went through 21 years of abuse! I spent 4 years in my abusive relationship and even almost married him. I finally saw the light and got out after he nearly choked me to death. Hugs for you! Stay strong! You're a brave woman!

Yes, it’s a shame how some men think. He’s been a little better now, but when I really needed him he wasn’t there for me and I will always remember that.

Wow. Yeah he would find himself Dismissed and Replaced.

Yes you will. This guy is not for you. That’s hard to hear but when you’re back on your feet you need to be packing those bags Missytee. Someone who treats you like this at that stage in your life is abusive. You’re worth so much more. Much love x

Don’t worry about him . Because once you start losing weight and getting fine. He’s going to be all In your face. Begging you to talk to him.

That's some ****. Have a conversation with him. Has he always been this detached?

I'm so sorry. Men act very strange when they don't know how to handle their emotions. Talk to him and ask him if he's ok. Then tell him how you feel without fussing at him. Tell him what you need. Ask him if he can give you what you need. He may have an issue with hospitals. Some people just cannot handle going to the hospital. Some people don't do well when loved ones are ill. But if you plan on having babies with this man one day he will have to get it together. Be sure not to
Make assumptions and give him a chance to open up to you. Sometimes we have to handle our men with white gloves. Now if he doesn't see anything wrong with his behavior you need to get rid of him.

Best wishes!

My husband didn’t stay for the surgery and he wasn’t there when I woke up. His step mother was there’s then later my mom came after I had told him not to tell anyone. He told them and they showed up. I was so mad . Then He wasn’t even there to take me home he sent his step mother to pick me up.

I'm so sorry to hear you are down. I'm depressed as well but for no apparent reason. Relationships are difficult but remember your inner strength. Take one day at a time and know you are taking charge of your life now. This is temporary and you have people here who will support you. You can do this, I believe in you!

I too am extremely depressed. I have nothing but feelings of anger and hatred. I don’t want to be around anyone. I feel like I hate my wife. I am tired and mentally exhausted. Wish I could pick up a drink or a drug but I know that isn’t the answer.

Not really he just didn’t want me to have the surgery so he feels like his feeling about it wasn’t taken into consideration. But I told him this is for me. He’s fine now. Helping me out because it’s over and done with. I’ll never forget though
