I’m nov 7th and on 3rd day of liquid diet! It’s alright, yesterday was harder, today I don’t care about food so much. Had a big headache yesterday too, now gone. Good luck with your surgery

I think it would be a really great surgery for you. Have you thought about writing your husband a letter. I know that sounds funny but often I think we get to say everything when writing things down without being interrupted. I wonder if you really explained how you feel .... like I love you and I need your support... coming from a place of love and not anger. I wonder if that would flick a switch. Love often flicks the switches eh. Whatever happens I really hope you get what you need. Let us know. I’m barracking for ya xx

Hallo! I’m on day 3 of pre op diet. Ughhhhh this optifast is gross but I’m so excited about the surgery I don’t care, I’m just chugging it down. I mix the shake with mostly ice so it comes out like a slushie and I add some spice to the soup cos gawd that stuff is horrible! I’ve had a big headache since last night though so trying to up the water. How are you feeling today? I paid for my surgery yesterday, totally cheap for what we are going to get out of it. In Australia we are totally allowed coffee both pre and post op... well for my surgeon anyway. As long as you’re not drinking it like a fish I guess!!! [emoji245]

I totally understand your fear. I had constipation only once and ended up with a fissure and had to have enema. It was most distressing. They can give you mirilax or movicol. There will be a plan for you. You don’t have to give up. Please talk to your doctor to put a plan in place. Best of luck.

I really feel for you. I gave up years ago and it was hard but in some ways easier too. I didn’t have to stress about running out etc.maybe try the vape things you can get no nicotine ones. Best of luck, you can do it x
