I was the same when I was on the liquid stage, but once I started to eat real food, my restriction grew and I felt full. So don't worry it's normal. Liquid passes quickly and doesn't sit on your stomach too long.

I was the same way I had no problems with my fluids but I didn't feel hungry but that went away about the second week I started feeling hunger a little bit couldn't wait to get to the primary stage by week 3 but now that I'm on solid foods I have to eat about 6 times a day cuz I can only eat maybe five or six bites and stuff at the most a half a cup at a time

I'm one week out and two medicine cups and I'm full! It takes me all day to get 30 ounces of Protein Drink in. I have a very hard time with water I don't like it much. I do crystal lite. Protein Drinks are not my fav. I drink 1/2 cup of beef broth for something different. That takes me a while but goes down better.

Ok I just hit one month on Thursday. Water and shakes were easy peasy. Then when i was started on foods - woah! Such a difference. You will feel it. In your chest. Between your boobs. And I’m here to tell you the first inkling if full- stop! Otherwise it’s an uncomfortable pain like none other. I can’t eat much either so it’s a slow process of tiny bites ... lots of chewing ... and waiting between. I still drink shakes in the morning 🤷🏼‍♀️

I started to really feel restriction when I started my soft solids and more so when I started regular foods. It will kick in!

I agree, the pain on chest in between breasts was horrible, I still have trouble with eating Bc I tend to feel like I can take one bite and when I do I suffer Bc I’m over stuffed. I have to work on that.

I'm with you. One week out today and having the same issues. The warm broth does go down much better.

I am going through the same thing! I have never felt a feeling of fullness! I have no problem getting fluids in and i was sleeved on 10/16/17. Im hoping that this will change when we get to solids! Im just trying to make sure i get my required fluids in and thats it! Im thankful but it is a little different then what i was expecting!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
