Already approved by ins but...

Recommended Posts

Hello! I just got a call yesterday that I've already been approved by insurance. I didn't even know my patient advocate submitted because I'm not done with my required appointments. She said she had what she needed for insurance requirements but the last appointment I'm waiting for is the surgeons requirement. I go to the pulmonologist on 9/26/17. She said once I get cleared from them she will set a surgery date! OMG! I was not expecting to be approved already by my ins. I thought it was going to be a fight. I'm so grateful and looking forward to living healthier. I'm so ready for this lifestyle change. I just had to share my news because I'm so happy right now. So now just waiting for the 26th to roll around. I hope I get cleared and have surgery mid October. Thx for reading😁

Thank you. I'm really looking forward to being more in control of my health and future. Can't wait to be on the other side. I ended up getting referred to another pulmonary doctor and went yesterday. He cleared me and said good luck. I'm super excited that I don't have to do a sleep study. I wanted to scream from happiness when I got in my car. I called my pa but she hasn't responded so today I sent her an email asking her why I need to do now. I'm so ready!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
