I am doing 12 oz during the whole day, as per my doctor only 4 oz at a time. Today I started puree food m, so I was able to do 1.5 oz of chicken and potatoes. Plus of course my Protein, Water, tea and jello

You will not be able to stretch the stomach with liquids. 11oz in an hour isn't too much - that is less than 2oz every 10 mins. Liquids will drain quickly from the stomach - so it really is a matter of what is comfortable.

I am wondering, how many ounces at a time should I be drinking my Protein Shake? I am getting down 11.5oz of Premier Protein shake within an hour. Is that too much at a time? Don't want to be dramatic but would this cause my sleeve to stretch due too much liquid?

That is about right. Can you feel it if you have too large of a sip or sips too close together?

I haven't felt sick by taking too big of sips, or feel full. This is why I was worried about stretching. I know some people say stage 2 don't feel the "full" feeling. Once you get to stage 3, when actually digesting food that's when you actually feel the full feeling.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
