Need advice 3 weeks out and weight hasn't changed in 12 days

Recommended Posts

Hi all I'm just wondering has any other sleevers experienced a weight loss stall in the early stages post surgery. So total since two weeks pre op duet is 23 pounds and I'm almost 3 weeks out and my weight hasn't changed in nearly two weeks. I've also begun exercising and hand to god have not cheated I've been following surgeon instructions.

I accept it's such a huge change to my body but can't totally figure out how to get my weight moving.

I would appreciate any advice...

I am 4 weeks out and have been stalled for 2 weeks. They say it is very normal to have a 3 and/or 4 week stall. Im hoping I see some change on the scale this week since I can begin eating solids again! J

It is very discouraging. My surgeon told me that even if the scale isn't moving we are still losing inches. I guess I should invest in a measuring tape so I can see the results for myself. lol Good luck with your sleeve!

I am about five months out and have encountered this scenario repeatedly. My weight loss graph looks like steps. My surgeon said it was fine and not to worry. Stick with it, your weight will drop, but not (in my experience) at a steady rate. I wish someone had mentioned this to me when I was just starting out, would have saved me a lot of anxiety.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
