Finally had my first puree meal today!!!

After being on liquids since July 7th I had my first puree meal. I've been waiting for this day. My stomach is talking to me, but all went down well and I didn't have any complications. I could only eat about 4 baby spoonfuls. This pyrex will last me forever!

That sounds delicious. Do you have a recipe?

I blend my food as well, but this was an approved puree recipe on Pinterest. Here are some others. I love to cook, so I needed options.

Thanks for the tips. Looking forward to this stage. So tired of protein shakes

Yes posted above. Along with some others. [emoji16]

What is underneath the cheese and sauce? Be as graphic as possible. *mouth watering* lol

I've done nothing but cry all day because I am having such extreme taste aversion to everything I'm allowed on my full liquid post op diet and this made me literally LOL so thank you. [emoji171]

@lornasaurusleeve awww glad I could make you laugh! lol I cried a couple times after surgery. I was on an all liquid diet for one month post op...I only did it for 3 weeks post op. But it was rough! I feel your pain! It gets easier! I'm one month post op exactly today and 26 lbs down since I started 33 days ago.

Oh god I'd end up in the hospital for sure if I had to continue this that long. I just cannot tolerate all the fake sweeteners! Congrats on your success! I hope I'll feel better by a month out too!

Looks great. Those first meals are so satisfying after the liquid diet. I also love to make refried beans with peach salsa blended and then with some melted cheese on top. So good.
