  15. 1st day was painful I was nauseated and had bad gas pains. I went home next day which was a big relief since there was constant interruptions in the hospital and I couldn't really rest. I immediately stopped the oxycodone and just took chewable tylenol. After about 3 days I didn't need any more tylenol. I am 1 week post opp today. I walked 2 miles and getting in all my fluids. The first few days will be difficult to drink and your stomach will be tender. Move and walk as much as you can. My suggestions is it will be rocky the first few days, but will get better. I'm going back to work Monday after taking 1 week off.
