@dreamingsmall - I'm on week 6 and my daily food consist of the following: probiotic shot (Good Belly Shot) early morning - before my workout. Then I drink Water during the workout and for 1 hour after.

Breakfast: drinkable yogurt, with Protein fruit flavored drink and 8 oz of Water

Lunch: meat based Soup (like French Onion, or chicken and Vegetable) or chicken Taco meat, cheese, sour cream, salsa all about 1/2 cup. Eat Slowly take a min between bites

Dinner: Meatloaf with potatoes and steamed veg's or soft grilled pork with veg.

I drink about 32 oz of water in between eating. I drink water before bed. Most of the water is flavored with Protein powders. So I get 60-80 mg

I found by eating slower and stopping when full, I eat less, and I drink more! Today I'm in a pair of pants I haven't worn in 2 years! I know it's working by the clothes not the scale.

Hope that helps.

Wow that is awsome you have an amazing plan! thanks for outlining what you do! I am going to focus on my water intake today!

My surgery is coming up, August 30th, but one thing I have learned from a lot of people on here is to Celebrate the NSVs (Non-Scale Victories). I am filled with excitement and nerves, but you all seem to be doing pretty well. Thanks for sharing your experiences!!!

You will do great, its very exciting, i loved reading about others when i was waiting to do mine!

Mine was the 18. I'm MISERABLE. I'm eating 8oz of food per meal and I'm starving all day long. Down 40 pounds from the start of this whole ordeal but let's face it, the weight came off because I starved myself for 4 weeks. So not a happy camper right now and second guessing even doing the surgery. What's the point if I have to go the rest of my life starving and feeling like this. I have the same starving feeling after I eat that I had before I eat!!

Hi how are you doing? Did your surgeon tell you to eat 8 ounces in one sitting? I thought most people were at 4 ounce per sittin vary intresting how plans vary.

I spoke to my nutritionist the other day and told her I was eating 4 ounces and still very hungry. She told me I could eat anywhere from 4-8 ounces. I bumped it up to 8 and still haven't felt full after a meal.

I did not know people even eat 8 ounces a year out that is intresting. what food are you eating? can you eat 8 ounce of meat?

I should have explained it better. I'm not able to eat 8 ounces of solid foods. I was able to eat 7-8 ounces of puréed and soft food. When I eat solid food I can't eat more than 3-4 ounces. Sorry for the confusion.

My surgery was on July 17th. I have been losing slow and steady. But today I weighed and I gained 1.5 pounds. Now I am in full panic mode. Has anyone else experience a weight gain?

I was sleeved July 25th and today is my 4 week mark and I've felt great honestly. All my incisions have healed tremendously well and I'm down 37 pounds as of today - feeling extremely ecstatic about that. I have no issues with the solid stage - I am a vegetarian so no issues with any foods being caught since I am strictly plant based.

Wishing everyone the best of luck

Still in extreme pain in my abdomen but all I am told is this is normal. I truly regret what I have done if I have to continue with the unexplainable pain 4 weeks out. :(

I was sleeved on the 26th of July and yesterday I went and I had gained 2 pounds. I was so frustrated. The dietician explained to me that looking at the scale analysis that for some reason I had a 10 pound increase in Water but a reduction of 8 pounds in fat mass. For some reason I am retaining water. This helped me a bit but I was still discouraged!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
