any November 2017 sleevers?

Hey everyone,

I got the phone call yesterday that I was approved and I have my surgery date November 21st. I am excited and a little nervous because it is actually happening!

Hi! I'm in Florida as well! Good luck on the diet, I'm also on mine. My surgery is November 6th. No advise though I'm on say 3 and very very grumpy and hungry lol [emoji23]

I was moved up to the 1st since my BMI is not that high (39) I started my liquids today. Premier protein shake for breakfast, Sugar-free Jello pudding for snack and puréed lentil soup for lunch. Let’s see how this goes, am looking forward to my chicken soup liquid dinner.

Nov 22nd here!

I’m November 2nd! So excited about this!! Also my first time on BariatricPal.

Mine is November 7th. Starting my liquid diet October 28th!

I am scheduled for 11/17. EGD this Monday and one preop appt. left. After submission of my paperwork, my surgery was approved by Cigna in less than two weeks. [emoji854]

So we are twins!!!! Yessssssss can’t wait! They told me 1 week diet but I’m doing the two week. I need advice on how to do the liquid diet?

We are Triplets, I’m 11/20 too!!

I'm right there with you still having to feed a family - I think I've tried most of the services but I'm currently using Gobble. It makes meal prep easier in general but I'm hoping it helps the pre/post op transition - so the fam will have the meals and I'll have the soups (with added protein powder). Amanda, I love the thanksgiving idea and that you're a planner too! I may just have to copy you. Looks like we're going to be great support to one another [emoji4] Talk soon!

Ok I was inspired by your post and I made a butternut squash and pumpkin soup...how have I never eaten this!?! It was amazing, hoping I can keep myself from eating it all before my surgery [emoji23]. I am sure that having a meal prep plan would make things so much easier and more manageable. I always try to plan ahead but it rarely works out as planned, I always seem to be missing something. I definitely have my foods planned out now to work on the family lol

Have a great day!
