On my pre op liquid diet I could have protein shakes but not first week post op. Every dr is different.

I've been assuming no protein shakes on the clear liquid diet--just stuff that is actually clear, like water, Crystal Light, broth, herbal tea, jello, sugar-free popsicles. I do have some protein water, too, which is clear.

Your list may be different, but I just checked my post-op clear liquid list, and the protein shakes aren't on it--they're added on the full-liquid diet. So better to check your instructions, I think . . .

My surgery is Monday. I'm ready. Going to finish cleaning out the fridge tonight, throw away anything that can't be eaten in the next couple of weeks.

I am going for surgery tomorrow as well. Excited and scared .Good Luck

I'm going to have my last (liquid) meal pre-op right before I head to the support group in Fort Collins.

You will do fine! Good luck!

I have surgery on the 31st. I'm a band to sleeve revision but this is still a. If step

I'm in pre-op right now. They're running late. [emoji15] It's almost happening!

Hello I got sleeved on the 24th and just today started having cravings I really had to go for a walk when I started feeling like this it's been a journey for me How could this be is this normal?

I was sleeved on 8/10/17 and had cravings for certain foods that I was allowed in the next level as I advanced to the next phase of the post op diet. Crazy thing is once I actually ate the food, I didnt want it. In fact, it didnt even taste good to me. I think its just our minds going through changes...Stay strong! You can do it!!!!

Thank you cause I was getting discouraged I'm on a clear liquid stage one I shouldn't be craving but I know everyone is different I will push forward Thanks
