Hi I'm a 34 yr old mom of two young kids and my surgery is scheduled for August 2017! Im excited and super nervous at the same time. Just wanted to see if anyone else was getting surgery in August too?

Final pre-op appointment with surgeon today. Pre-op clearance with primary tomorrow. Start pre-op diet on Sunday. Surgery on the 28th. Will admit now that I'm having four completely ridiculous "final" meals before then!

Oh wow!finally someone has a surgery date the same as mine.lol

My date is August 30th!!! I'm as nervous as I can be. Start pre-op Liquid liver shrink diet on 8/16. Prayers for all you guys recovering and going in to this!!!

I have 6 more day to wait for my surgery. Aug. 16th!?

Mine is scheduled for August 30th...I'm 31, happily married and father of two beautiful little girls...I'm excited about this journey, nervous about the unknowns but hopeful about the future. My parents are sleevers as well and have had an amazing turn around so I'm blessed to have two success stories close to home and a tight support group. Wish everybody much success in the coming weeks as we get this show on the road!

Mine is 8/21... I am on the two week week before pre op .. the time to do this is when you are young .. life changing

When I was young, laparascopic surgery didn't exist, I don't think. Doing it when one is older doesn't mean that one's life still can't change! not to mention continue for longer than it would otherwise . . .

Yes I'm 41 and I'm ready for a new and longer life.

Yes ... life changing at any age .. and of course my quality of life will be different due to weight loss ... i am busy making a bucket list for my future !!!

I'm 58 and my surgery is monday. I worry about saggy skin but I know a healthier me will be worth it. I can't wait to take control of my body once and for all.
