Holy crap! You look AMAZING! I think we had surgery around the same time if I remember correctly- I was 12/6/16- and I'm still 40 pounds heavier than you are! I know I'm a really slow loser but you're incredible!!!! You go lady! Congrats on all the hard work!
Now...you have to tell your secrets :) like what does your program look like? How much exercise have you done, fluids, etc etc- I'm so frustrated so I'd love to learn from the old pro here :)

You really have inspried me as it has been a tough week and need a positive focus. I am 2 month post op and 19kg lighter but yesterday I was struggling. Dealing with the emotional change and hurdles of my job this week I lost sight of my end goal so thank you for the reminder. Have a great week, take care and Well done. You look fantastic

Sent from my SM-G925I using BariatricPal mobile app

Good for you for realizing this and just like you I have fallen off to and experienced disappointments along with every emotion you have had I'm sure I've had too as well as majority of us. Just remember to always get back in the track and talk back to any negative thoughts with positive thoughts and talk. It really does seem just like yesterday I had this surgery and had to battle those first few months. It felt like it was going to take forever but I promise you are next to make a similar post You got this!!!!!!

Awe wow I truly appreciate every word!!!
You are incredible too!!!!! This isn't an easy decision or journey as we know. Please know I have had my share of stalls too and they are frustrating but you have to TRUST THE PROCESS, remain committed and most of all CONSISTENT.
Haha there aren't any secrets but I've been consistent in working out 4-5 days a week for an hour. Mostly cardio (treadmill, elliptical, & stair master) up till now. Been adding weights the last couple weeks. I take my Vitamins religiously, as I've set alarms on my phone so I don't forget. I do my best to hit my daily Protein and fluid goals. Honestly I don't track them but feel pretty confident in my mindfulness with them. I hit my Fluid goals majority of days and pretty close to my protein goals most days. I try to add Protein Shakes to ensure I hit goals using the Bariatric Advantage that has double the protein. Hope this helps and remember YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
