I had my surgery in Feb,2017 everything is well. I've lost 63 pounds so far. Lately I've been feeling very depress, I just feel alone it's a strange feeling. Anyone else going thru the same thing? [emoji17]

Just curious if you take any Vitamin D? This winter staying indoors Can play havoc with Vit-D.. levels .and can cause depression. I do take supplement for it because my blood work showed I was low.. I could tell a huge difference between night and day..I felt more energetic and my depression seemed to just lift and go away...

As a fellow Californian I don't think I ever needed Vitamin D supplements until I moved to Canada.

tbh I dunno, maybe talk to family doctor or psychiatrist... less weight means do more, get your butt outside!

I notice you said in a prior post you're from EPA. While I'd never want to live there, you're also really close to stuff. Are you a concert person? You're really close to Shoreline Amp (and can check out my ex-employer Google while you're there in MV), tis the season for concerts! That's where I went to most of the Ozzfests I ever attended.

Remember that your hormones go wonky with sudden weight loss like this. That can really mess with your state of mind. Definitely get the Vitamin D, and maybe try out some new hobbies you felt like you couldn't do before. The rush of being able to do something you've always wanted to can be amazing.

Find something fun to do. I went Roller Skating & had a blast last week. If nothing helps make an appointment & talk to a Dr or counselor.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
