Getting discouraged

Recommended Posts

I had rny December 12,2016, I weigh myself every Monday to see my progress week to week

I am so close to having my first 100 pounds down but I'm going on three weeks to lose the last five pounds to get there. I feel like at this rate it will be months until I can get under 200 ☹️

I Exercise almost every day and track everything I eat using my fitness pal. So frustrated right now

You are doing great - you don't seem to have experienced any stalls so you must be doing all the right things. And as long as you are losing a pound a week you are doing good.

Are you getting in your fluids and eating your Protein? Are you eating enough to support the exercise you are getting?
If so, maybe a visit to your nutritionist for a review of your food log is in order.

I've found that things are slowing down now that I'm at the 6 month mark but as long as I'm losing I'm happy. Unlike diets that have an end, I view this as a lifetime journey. As long as I follow the plan my nutritionist gave me I'm confident things will move along and I will get to my goal, I'm not in a hurry. (I can't afford to keep changing sizes monthly!!)

You are doing so well! I went for over two weeks without losing anything. One thing that kicked me into high gear was lifting weights. I do weights three times a week and it really jump started my weight loss. I wouldn't worry if I were you, though. You are doing really well.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
