Oh, God. I'd die. Best of luck. Leave the room. I know I would.

Mine had McDonald's. I don't even like McDonald's but it was so hard sitting there 3 days post op.

They are all eating glorious [emoji487] pizza as I type this. I'm trying to remind myself that glorious pizza helped get me to 248 pounds at 5'5. I guess I'm OK sipping my beef broth....🤔

I feel your pain but you are doing the right thin! Think of the negative side effects of the pizza and it won't bother you as much. You'll get through this. :)

Lol I know that feeling. My hubby doesn't cook so I have to cook for him and wee girl - smells make me hungry but I'm happy with my 4oz of pureed food lol

My family had pizza night last night too, and I'm 10 days post op.
It's not pizza, but I went to Whole Foods and got this amazing Cream of Tomato Soup. It tasted sooo delicious! Once I move to puréed foods, I'm going to make that ricotta bake that I see floating around.
I know it's hard, but we can figure out a way to make this work and get healthy!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
