My paperwork has finally been sent to insurance for approval. I have worked so hard to make sure I got everything exactly how the insurance company and surgeons office requested. I'm so anxious waiting, I want an answer so I can get a date! I could use any good thoughts and positive vibes you can spare that I get approved and don't have to wait long to find out!

Thank you! Yes, I am slightly freaking out. After all the waiting I've done, to have it scheduled for so soon is someehat nerve-wracking.

I got my surgery date today, May 31! I'm so glad to finally have a date!

I'm still waiting on approval as well. Today makes 2 weeks and it's still pending smh

Yes, it is! That is so awesome, we'll get to meet in person then! I'm excited too because I don't know anyone out there yet, met a few people at meetings but don't see them every time.

Ugh. Frustrating. I called my insurance a bunch of times to check the status, you should call them and see where it's at.

Last Fall I was denied, but resubmitted my paperwork this past Winter. I did a live chat several times to let them know that I was serious about obtaining this surgery. Keep the pressure on.

Yes- don't be discouraged!! I called my ins (Cigna) last week they said they haven't received anything from Dr. I got a call from Dr Tues this week with approval!!

That is great @jenzds75! I know how frustrating the wait is, and the anticipation, but once you get your date the time seems to fly by! I just had my surgery on 5/31, I'm on post-op day 4 now!
