I am almost 3 weeks out and sometimes it doesn't seem like I get full. Does anyone else feel that way. When that happens how do I know when to stop eating? I don't want to hinder my weight loss or stretch out my pouch. I thought I would get certain feelings when I am full. Can anyone help?

hey bud

at 3 weeks you are probably still on liquids

liquids usually will not give you that full feeling:wacko:

as time passes, you will start to eat solids and get

that "full" feeling - at that point one sign of being

full is you will sneeze, or hiccup/burp

way back when..... my hubby would yell to me

"oink oink, piggy" cuz he could here my different

sounds/noises when i was full!! LOL oh well, gotta love him !!!

doc told me to eat till i'm full, then stop 2 bites earlier;-)

follow all the rules, especially eat and drink sssssslowly

good luck

kathy

I am actually on soft foods. So I can eat regular food but only soft. That is why I am surprised I don't feel full

But the comments made about having nerves cut and stuff like that makes sense. I will continue to measure as I go. Thanks so much everyone!

I actually get really hungry at night. I drink a lot too. More than ever. And I have not lost since first week. Now on week 4.

Yes I get really hungry at night too. Not losing for that long can be discouraging. I haven't really lost anything in the last week. But I hear them say u hit a stopping point at week three so hopefully your time will come soon and u will see a weight decrease!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
