LADIES - 1 week postop menstruation

Recommended Posts

I'm one week postop, and started my period - this caught me off guard because I just completed my cycle 4 days before surgery. So it's been about 2 weeks since the start of my last period.

I know surgery causes alot of stress on your body, I was just wondering if this could have something to do with it, or if anyone else has experienced this.

My periods can come on during times off stress. When my grand father passed away I had my period on and off for a month with 2 days break between. It's a normal way for your body to react to stress.

Happened to me too! I was so surprised. I'm on the pill, never skip, and it came out of nowhere. Doc said it's normal. Wish someone had warned me about it beforehand though, so I would have been a little more prepared haha.

I got it too. It was on time, but my periods never actually come on time, so I was surprised anyway :P I guess surgery does that!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
