How are you feeling?

Not sure if my other comment posted but I'm doing fine physically but had to give myself a talk today.

I had mine march 7, kinda having a hard time taking vitamins. They are the melt in your mouth kind. Can't get my water in neither

I had my RNY surgery this past Monday, 13th. Down 13 pounds and feeling great!

It's 7pm for me. I'm already at the hospital, surgery at 8am tomorrow. Good luck everyone

Surgery was on Monday, came home yesterday. Have ended up with a sinus infection, so not feeling too good, but working my way through it. Water intake has improved since I got home. My program has you on to solids (that you have to chew until puree) by day 4, so I'm already on yogurt, creamy soups, even had a babybell cheese. Down 2.4kg /5lbs since surgery

<raising hand> Me!!!I go in Monday morning....nervous but excited to finally get this tool to help me!!!

Day 5, down 10lbs, and really struggling to get in 2 cartons of premier protein a day. I'm just not hungry or thirsty. Otherwise I'm doing great just still have a little bit of gas in my shoulder but that's nothing compared to how happy I am!

I'm 11 days out....barely can get a premier protein shake down...water is hard for me as well. The pain is subsiding but, sugar free popsicles, sugar free fudge sicles, & applesauce have turned out to be my friends. It only takes a few sips of anything and I'm full. I will consider taking meds & vitamins when I can finally get a pureed meal in...on a empty stomach, it would be a disaster for me. Hang in there...I swear every day gets better!

Surgery buddy! I have the same day and same pain! I tried to go to work this morning but I got so nauseous and the pain on my left side is like daggers. When do you go back to work? I've lost 9 since morning of surgery!

I went back to work 3/16th. I still have a little discomfort in my muscle on the left side but besides that feel great. I started eating solids this week and so far so good!! I am down 30 lbs so far! How are you doing?

Hey March surgery peeps!
I'm 8 days post op. Feeling better and better each day. Just a bit stir crazy with the limitations so I rotate through the house...walk a bit outside, putter around putting away/dealing with clutter, sit in chair and fiddle on laptop....and always fit in a nap. LOL Anxious to get staples out next week. The incision areas are itchy from healing. Would love to slather my belly with lotion. lol My hubs coordinated all my "meals" and meds last week, but this week I'm on my own. Started using my fitbit again, no where near 10k goal, but I like to see my activity. Also started logging my protein/foods on myfitnesspal again so I can make sure I have enough. He was using a spreadsheet (bless his heart)

I'm 7 days post op and already back to work girl! Who's placed the limitations? Get out and about!

oh I'm out and about, just can't bend over and not supposed to carry more than 10 lbs. Cannot believe you're back to work. I'm also not driving til next week when I go to my 2 week post op.
Interesting how variant the post op rules are.
