Has anybody had sleeping issues!!?? I can't sleep. Even though I'm up by 6 or 630am by bed time I can't, I'm miserable!

I had my good days and bad days when it came to sleeping after my surgery. The first day after surgery I was hardly awake, used to get up only to vomit. But the 2nd and 3rd day I had very little sleep (less than an hour).

However, after I got home from the hospital I noticed that I either used to sleep too much or too little. I found Chamomile tea to be of big help. Try sipping it before going to sleep. It soothes you.

I also found exercising helps. Exercising half hour before bed time - only light hand movements and walks (I take walks inside my apartment from room to room), this makes me tired and then I sip the Chamomile tea and go to sleep :). This technique works well for me at least 5 days a week!

I get restless every time I have to take tablets :D. My doctor doesn't allow me to take Gummy Vitamins (heard from a few friends that they look forward to eating their vitamins).

Please try Chamomile tea, it really soothes you.

Yes I had major issues after a few days post op. I take Ambein any way and my primary doctor had to increase the strength from a 5mg to a 10mg. I'd been on it for a couple of years before surgery. I sleep pretty well most nights but am going to try the Sleepy Time tea to help me relax before bed. Try to get back to your regular routine and work routine when cleared. that helps too as well as exercise.

I hope my opinion is helpful to you. May God bless you and keep you. :D :1331_v_tone2:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
