Am just wondering am I gonna be the 1st one who made the sleeve operation and didn't lose weight

My sleeve was 17/12

Down like 6 kilos and then a stall for 4 weeks and then down another 3 kilos and stall AGAIN!!

I don't know how to manage my food actually.. am always hungry .. maybe every 2 hours .. I eat and then I feel runny nose and sneezing every time I have a full stomach

I honestly wish I had some answer for you just don't give up. I lose 5 or 6 than stall constantly. I would say just continue to do what you're supposed to and don't give up and think it's not working. Try to stay focused.

You are going to have to sit down and plan out 3 meals and 1 snack at very specific times. For example, eat at 8, 12, and 6, with a snack at 3.

Stay away from food at other times, but keep drinking your sugar free beverages.

If you are eating every 2 hours, you have no time to drink! (Think about it.. 30 minutes before, plus 30 minutes for the meal, plus 1 hour after with no liquids).

You are doing what is called "eating around your sleeve" eating more frequently and not waiting to drink... I'll bet you aren't getting 64oz of Water either ;)

If you are truly uncomfortable, you may have too much acid, or some inflamation. Talk to your doc and nut.

You can do this!

I am 3 1/2 months post-op and I've been on stalls as many weeks as I've lost weight. It's just part of the process. The scale continues to move down and my clothes are getting bigger so it's all working out. You just have to be patient and follow your program. Make sure you are eating your Protein, drinking your Water and avoiding carbs as much as possible. Also make sure you are working out 4-5X a week.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
