Mix it with Water. Mix it with yogurt. I know how frustrating it was. I was allowed full liquids for three weeks after surgery - shakes, yogurt, ricotta or cottage cheese, sugar free puddings and jellos (maybe PB2 in some chocolate sugarfree Jello?) Get creative. Get on Pinterest -- make the ricotta bake -- just google bariatric ricotta bake -- it's really good and help me when I was on full liquids. Obviously, if some of the things I've listed are not on your plan as liquids, please don't eat them. Trust your plan. All I can tell you is that the scrambled egg I had at day 1 of week 4 was the best scrambled egg I've had in my life.

I understand how you are feeling, I had such a hard time with liquids too! I was on full liquids for a week, puréed for 2, soft solids for 3 (im on week 2) and then will be on regular diet after this.

Each stage has its own challenges but you will get through it.

Your stomach is still very swollen. Stick to it as best you can I know those cravings and desires are real. But overall it's for your best

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
