Tomorrow is the big day! (Kaiser Richmond, CA)

  • Popular Post

I am so excited. I check in at 7:15am and my surgery is at 9:20am. I am beyond nervous and having some doubts but I think it's all normal because I'm 100% ready. I'm a little mad because for the past couple mornings I've woken up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose (because the air is so dry) so hopefully that is not enough to cancel me. I would be devastated because this is the only time of the year I can.

Good luck! Mine is tomorrow too. =] We can totally do this!

Yay! And good luck, mine is tomorrow at 5:30 AM but I'm getting a cold. Hopefully it won't be delayed! Prayers and blessings to all now and future sleevers

My surgery is tomorrow as well at 10am. What is everyone sipping on today on your clear liquid diet? I had an Isopure, chicken broth and on my 4th 16 Oz bottle of Water.

My sleeve surgery is Tuesday, the 20th. I'll be the first surgery, so I'm happy about that. I have lymphedema and overweight, so I am doubly excited for the surgery to be behind me and the changes to begin. I look forward to having less swelling and less pain, especially in my legs. I look forward to being able to be anything but sedentary. My only nervousness is with the fact that I'm on my own. I have a friend dropping me off on Tuesday and a co-worker picking me up from the hospital on Thursday and dropping me home. I'm a grown, independent woman, but I do wish I wasn't totally alone. My parents cannot travel any longer; my sister will be on a cruise; and, my son has his own family to care for. Has anyone else gone it alone?
