Just got my surgery scheduled for December 26th! So excited I can hardly wait! Going to spend next week doing work so I won't have to worrying about taking time off and prepping for after surgery! So excited!

I have not been scheduled have to get insurance approval which should be turned in this week then scheduled. I hope it is very soon because I need a hernia repair when I have surgery and I am in so much pain from it. I will push them as fast as possible because of this problem. Monday will be my last doctor approval then off to insurance. I did talk to the coordinator and she said insurance (Humana) takes up to 30 days for approval and since I have so many comorbities I really don't see a problem with approval.

That's great! I'm a revision so I was really nervous about it being approved. Plus I have a really strict timeline with getting off work. It was either get the surgery next week (scheduling it for Monday means I'm out exactly two weeks) or wait until May to have it

Wow! That's so fast! Mine is as far out as it is to hopefully allow me to get a leave of absence from work. They're being difficult so we'll see.
