october surgery may not happen

Recommended Posts

i just got a letter on friday stating that i need a supervised medical letter stating for 6 months that ive exercised. i did go to the gym for 4 months and had a personal trainer for 3 of those months then i started working out at work 3 times a week and my boss who is a doctor would exercise with me but i dont think that is proof enough for what they want. i am so upset. when i first got into the program last nov. the director told me that i have everything i need for the insurance and that i should be approved now i may not qualify. if i have to wait another 6 months im not sure if ill go through with surgery and i may not have insurance by then anyway. has anyone had this problem? any feedback

Hi andielmt -

I was also VERY disappointed when I found out I had to do a 6 month weightloss and exercise. But you know what?.....the 6 months are going to come and go anyway........might as well use them to work towards a healthier life!!!

If it was someone you loved who had to do something for 6 months that would most likely extend their life - you would encourage them to do it - right? So this is me encouraging you to GO FOR IT!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
