Feeling dizzy and no energy

Recommended Posts

I am 3 weeks post-sleeve and on a purée stage.

Did not have any problem at all and had energy, but yesterday and today I feel very sluggish and lightheaded, sleepy. Not sure if I am getting enough calories or Protein. Trying to have Water, but do not have the full 48 ounces a day. Any suggestions on nutritions and schedule?

Are you taking your Vitamins especially B 12? Also, try Vitamin Water zero. That is the only sweet drink I can tolerate and actually finish a half bottle per day.

I am the same.... 3 weeks post op and on the pureed stage.

I too, am very tired and have no energy. This has been going on for about 3 days. Ugh.

I am getting in all of my liquids plus some. Also taking my multi and Calcium 2 X a day.

I would suggest making sure you get at least the 64 oz of liquids so that you don't get dehydrated.... and that could make you dizzy too.

My energy is zapped and I can't put my finger on the cause.

Wish you the best.

I had horrible fatigue for a good month before I started feeling normal again. Water and Protein are the most important things, work really hard to get those in. My Protein intake fell when I moved to purees because I was trying to eat more food and use less Protein shakes. Also, if you've started exercising, you may need more calories to support it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
