I have restriction but have learned how to eat around my band, I had lost 150 lbs and have put 50 back on, looking for similar stories and motivation and advice to get back on track fast! I'm almost at max fill on a 10cc band. Thanks in advance!

There is no cheating. There are choices. You've been making choices that are now making you unhappy. Stop. You have no idea whether your almost-at-capacity band is at a good level for you now. The only way to find out is to stop eating whatever junk and see how you do.

Decide what you want to do. If it is to lose the weight you've gained and stop messing around, you won't have to be disappointed. You might even find satisfaction with yourself. Remember that? It was good, yes?

Recommit to yourself. No mindless eating or cheating. You are only cheating yourself of all the hard work you have already done. Track what you are eating and calories. No matter what it is. You know what to do. You've been successful, you can do it.

I have been banded for 3 years. This honestly is my biggest fear. I hurt my back in Aug so haven't been able to work out or go for a walk at lunch time at work. I gained back several pounds while dealing with my back problems and going to physical therapy. It was so frustrating. My back is better so I am able to walk at lunch and I am more strict with what I am eating since I am still not working out like I was before. Granted I am no way talking about serious gym workout. walking on treadmill or bike. I just do not want to get to where I was before the surgery. Again that is one of my biggest fears. I just have to remind myself to be conscious of my choices. What is important to me? What have I been working for? I don't want it to be for nothing and go back to what I was before. I have worked to hard. I hope you do well and get back to where you want to be.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
