Had first fill, not feeling much restriction. Advice please

Recommended Posts

So I'm 5 days after my first fill.

Not feeling much if any restriction. Is this normal?

I'm finding I'm snacking more and could easily eat bread without a struggle.

Advice needed if anyone has any please!

Give it time. I wasn't feeling full then I made the mistake of eating solids 6 days out and I can't believe I did that. Because now I'm two weeks out and just eating mashed Beans at 2oz a sitting is hard.

@@loulou12, it's common for one adjustment to leave room for improvement and wise to go on the slower side than race into things. It's also not uncommon for an adjustment to take a little longer to "settle in." Call your surgery practice and ask how long they wait between adjustments. In the meantime, it is up to you to make good choices. It will also be up to you later on.

@@MTWilliams, I noticed a topic that you started in the sleeve forum and send good wishes for success as you go along. Sleeve and band surgery are quite different animals.

After my first fill (4cc's) I started to GAIN weight

Went I went for my second fill I was apprehensive.

My Dr. laughed at me....said I really did not understand the "process"

That was 6 years ago

All I can say is "Look at me now"

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
