Like was said above....You need to get your fluids!!! Push them hard, it doesn't take very long to become dehydrated!!! I don't know how far out you are or which surgery you had but...you might want to call your Dr. It looks like you are fairly new so PLEASE be careful.

Jharris8641,

Just wanted to check on you today. How is it going? Do you feel a little better? Remember to get those Fluids in!!

Hi and thank you so am forcing myself to drink protien drinks. It was just a crazy day. I guess because I am already tried of just taking small sips of anything.

Hang in there!! It will get better!!

@@jharris8641 It kind of sounds like me in the beginning. See, I'm not one for pain pills unless it's serious, so wasn't taking them as often as I should, like when the pain was just beginning. This GREATLY affected my ability/desire to eat or drink. So, for a few days, I took them as prescribed, began eating/drinking and my energy increased as well!

Just food for thought......

This sounds exactly like me. I am 3 weeks out and do not want anything ever! I am struggling. Really scared of getting dehydrated. I am basically having multiple popsicles a day and I know this isn't good for me. But I feel like I absolutely cannot eat or drink. Praying this won't last.
