  6. I do, and I add Splenda to mine.
  7. I am down 60 lbs, but that includes my pre-op liquid diet. My weight loss has been really slow in my opinion. Although I am not exercising like I should be. I don't get enough water in either. Seems like each day is a struggle to make healthy food choices.

  9. Its strange how some of us were actually given straws in the hospital to drink our water with and others were not. For me, I know better than to slurp my water out of a straw. However I do find that I can drink more water than just by sipping it from a glass. My NUT said it was ok to use a straw, and if I had gas to stop and wait a few months before trying it. I have never had any gas so I use a straw daily. Keep in mind everyone is different. We have to do what works best for us.

  20. Mine is the same as yours and also 30gms fat per day. My weight loss has been very slow and I am curious if the carbs may have something to do with it. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  21. I have never sweated, mine is all internalized and I just get red faced which I think may be worse. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. Strangely I didn't seem to be as tired as some were. Maybe it's because I received a B12 shot during my hospital stay, but really I don't know. It sure helped me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  26. Our stats were very similar, like you also considered the sleeve, and my dr explained how much better the RNY bypass would be for me. I trusted him and had the bypass 7 weeks ago, and am very thankful I did. On my first visit I asked him what the mortality rates were for this surgery, he said "your risks of dying are higher with a hysterectomy than a bypass". I also had some well meaning friends who claimed to "know" someone who had died, funny they couldn't give me a name for me to verify it. So my point is sometimes friends mean well, but don't really want you to have surgery and sometimes they are just simply jealous. I wish you the very best of luck with whatever you decide. 27. I read your post and my heart broke for you. I instantly said a prayer for you. I pray for quick healing and that you are getting better each day. I look forward to hearing if your updates. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
