Kate

Hi ladies,

how you doing?

I am 6 weeks on Friday. I am being sick quite a bit when I eat what I would call normal food but seem fine with my Snacks such as cheese etc. Weight loss going well. Got review next week.

Hi everyone, I'm 2 weeks out now and doing great, went back to work part time after a week. Still a bit sore but better every day, no problems so far and noticing weight loss already. Not weighing at home so will wait for clinic appointments, first one this coming Monday. Hope everyone doing well too

Hi there, I'm more than happy to chat, I've had a great experience. Two other ladies had theirs done the same day with the same surgeon, we're all in touch and doing well

Hi Meeb. That's awesome news on being back to work after a week. Do you mind me asking what job do you do?

I work for the NHS, just did office based stuff the first week but pretty much back to normal now, except no manual handling!

Hi all I live in Milton Keynes and had my sleeve done on November 7th. It's been a rather roller coaster of a time, due to having a gastric bleed and ulcer a week later. Still struggle getting all my fluids down, but every day is a day of learning. On the 22 December they are putting a camera down to have a look see, will update everyone then.

All I can say is take things slowly don't try and rush things, but I have lost 55lb so everything is going in the right direction.

Can't tell you how excited and relieved I am to have found a UK forum ???????? It seems that the US guidelines post op vary somewhat than those in the UK? Anyhow, i had sleeve gastrectomy on 3rd December and so far so good! Back to work 1 week post op and have more energy than ever.
