How much weight is too much? Do I have a problem? Is this normal?

I don't know what the "rules" are on goal weights, but I'm also 5'2" and small framed. I'm currently at 140lbs and my goal weight is 115. If you look at a BMI calculator, for our height, those weight goals are right in the middle of the healthy range, not under or overweight, so I don't see any reason why you should worry about wanting to have a lower goal weight. That said, my simultaneous goal is to feel healthy and happy and completely badass, and I honestly already feel like I've met that goal, so for me I could lose more or not and be absolutely elated!!! ;)

You've done a great job losing all that weight and you look amazing and happy and healthy. I say do what you want <3

I have seen 2 plastic surgeons and they were about the same price. But their techniques where different. The second one I saw was much more hands on and explained everything to me more in depth and he was brutally honest. I liked him better. SO definitely shop around when it come to surgeons. I have to have 4 procedures. Excuse me now I do not know the medically terminology for all this. Eventually I will get a lower body lift, that is where they will do a circumference incision around my lower bikini line/hip/butt area. I have so much extra skin in order to get it tight he will also have to do a lateral incision on my abdominal area. This procedure in completely optional, depending on if I want tight skin or still have to deal with some loose skin. I am doing the surgery so I want it all gone and tight. I have to have a thigh and butt lift, a breast lift with augmentation, and an arm lift. My surgeon will do it in 2 surgeries. The lower and then the upper. They cost about 15,000-16,000 each. So all together about 30,000. This includes all fees, operating room fees, anesthesia, hospital stay, and pre-op visits. The only thing it does not cover is pain meds after the surgeries. The recovering time after the surgeries is long and you have to be off from work 3-4 weeks depending on your job.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
