I'm 8 months out and have lost 61 lbs. I thought it would of been more. I haven't lost any weight in over a month. How can I shake this up? I would like to loose 60 lbs more.

Feeling very frustrated and helpless.

It is hard to know what to suggest without more information.

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. It is possible that you are just on a stall.

Are you tracking your food?

Are you following your food plan?

Are you eating Protein first?

What is your Protein target?

Are you consuming at least that much every day?

Are you drinking at least 64 oz of fluids.

Are you avoiding starches, added sugars (especially high fructose corn syrup), and fried foods?

Are you practicing mindful eating: eating slowly, taking small bites, and chewing thoroughly?

Are you exercising?

Are you eating enough to support your exercise?

Have you talked to your NUT about your concerns?

Embrace the Stall

It can be very frustrating. I can understand feeling like you haven't lost enough.

Try to focus more on what you have been able to do and loose. E.g. focus on how you've changed habits, relationship with food, able to do more etc.

I'm trying to focus on how much more I can do on the elliptical, how much more consistent I've become with exercise and self control.

What is your routine like? Protein? Fluids? Exercise? Sometimes shaking up a workout can be the change needed.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
