OMG When I added another 10 minutes on the recumbent bike, it put the highest hill five times in a row right in the middle of the workout!

I thought I was gonna DIE! faint.gif

Just checked and I only need to lose 10.2 more pounds to move from "seriously obese" to plain ole "obese"! Gotta keep movin!!!!! If I don't exercise, the scale moves SO SLOWLY!!! When I exercise, I lose about 3lbs per week avg. (at least thus far) When I don't it's 1-1.5 per week! Exercise is worth it!!!! YEAH!

I just couldn't get through my workout today, and quit my cardio right in the middle. I don't know why I am so tired today. Probably kid stress...teenagers, ugh...making me crazy!

Today was a great workout! I couldn't get to two of the weight machines I use because it was so busy, so that part was a little shorter. However, I got right back on track with my cardio after tanking in the middle of it yesterday. I was really disappointed in myself, I must say.

I am really starting to feel very strong, and that is an amazing feeling! And my shoulders are looking FANTASTIC! LOL No more pudgy roundness to them...getting very toned. (Those evening gowns are going to look amazing when I go to Vegas in November!) This is starting to pay off and it makes me want to work even harder, so I am going to double my weight lifting workout. I'm up to the optimal time for cardio, so it is just a matter of gradually increasing the resistance to build up.

Folks, I cannot tell you how glad I am that I pushed through those first few weeks of HATING working out. It's true what they say...push through that and one day you will wake up and NEED to go...it's addicting. I love it!

I never would have done it without you guys and this challenge...THANK YOU!

You can add another 60 minutes for me. I don't think I am going to meet my challenge again this month. I injured my foot some how and I really cannot walk for more than 30 minutes at a time. It is my exercise of choice but I think I am going to start some upper body work out. I am going to go out and get some weights and bands.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
