oh I am sorry! a LOT of people have trouble with eggs. I don't know why. I am thankful they are a staple food for me. best to let them aside for a few weeks and then try again, or try them fixed a different way.

I haven't had my surgery and eggs make feel like they are coming back up unless I eat them with something.

It's week 3, day 1..... I had eggs this morning and have been nauseous all day! I have only been able to get down one bottle of Water and 2 cups of milk. Why would eggs make me feel like this?

I am three years out and I still scramble mine SUPER soft (almost runny), an add butter AND cheeese. The whites of a hard boiled egg sits in my stomach like a rock unless I add dressing or mayo. An over easy egg must have sausage gravy or some other type of sauce in order for me to not feel like heaving.

I assume it's just because it's a REALLY solid proteinn. I love eggs, but I have to have them prepped a specific way or have them served with a sauce.

I threw up my scrambled egg. Not game to try even poached yet, at 6 months post op.

No issues with eggs prepared any way. My preference though is soft boiled. Then again, it was preop as well. Mmmm. Now I want one!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
