Best Tasting Protein Shake

I got a sample of chocolate Premier Protein from my surgeon yesterday at my pre-op and I just tried it and I really don't like the taste of it. It sort of tastes like it wants to be chocolate milk but it's not quite. What are your favorite tasting shakes (brand/flavor)??

They have bunch of different brands. I got 10 packets to try and landed with Quest chocolate shakes. Premier Protein Chocolate and vanilla from buying 4 packs at walmart. There is a protein Water called protein2O that's good Atkins Lift Protein water is good. Both have 15g of protein low calorie low sugars

Chike iced coffee and Chike chocolate bliss; unjury chocolate splendor, Syntrax nectar Cappuccino, Syntrax Matrix perfect chocolate, Syntrax Matrix mint cookie.

I mix my Protein shakes with unsweetened vanilla cashew milk. If you are using powders, what you mix yours with can make a big difference.

No Protein shake is ever going to taste like chocolate milk (Unjury chocolate splendor comes closest IMO). Look for something you can choke down fairly easily rather than something you "love."

I agree with all these they have the best flash or so far some are gritty and have an after taste.

And which blenders do you recommend? Surgery is Monday so it's crunch tine

I don't like the premier chocolate shake cold, but heated up it's like a hot chocolate and wonderful. I also drink the vanilla and strawberry premier shake. I buy it by the case at costco.

Right now strawberry is my favorite, but it wasn't when I first had my surgery three months ago. Sometimes the strawberry taste really sweet to me and the vanilla sometimes not sweet enough.

I've also tried GNC whey Protein powder brand of Cookies and cream and also their unflavored. I use the unflavored to add to other foods. The unflavored hasn't really changed the flavor of any foods. The cookies and cream was OK, I may try to blend it up with ice but I did find that both of their protein powders worked better if I use my stick blender vs my magic bullet. Using the magic bullet caused the powders to foam too much.

What blender do you use?

Premier vanilla rules my universe.

And try Premier chocolate again, but don't try and pretend it's chocolate milk.....it's actually a lot more like a Yoo-hoo chocolate drink? I grew up in NJ and Yoo-hoo was super popular there, I loved it as a kid.

I have had a very hard time finding shakes that I could drink. i have recently discovered this combination that tastes amazing. I mix a bottle of carnation chocolate high protein instant breakfast (15g of protein) with a scoop of chocolate premiere protein and some ice cubes or frozen bananas. Very good and chocolatey

I've tried all the Chike flavors and can recommend each of them with high levels of confidence that you'll probably like them.

The absolute worst powder I ever tried is unjury strawberry. I thought I was going to hurl every time I tried it. Into the trash the can went. Never again.

If you love coffee like I do. .. muscle milk coffee house line! vanilla latte, mocha latte & cafe latte!! I drink them every morning! Sometimes 2 or 3 a day!! They're DELICIOUS. ..
