@@sgc sorry to hear that keep hanging in there. I know that feeling pre op. How's your activity level? Are you at 30 min daily? I'm still on liquids advance into purees on Fri.

I have tried other foods and tolerated it well but I really want to stick to the plan.

It's easy to fall back into old habits although we can't eat as much so I'm hoping that's not an issue for you. Nothing is stopping us from making poor choices but us.

I hope things turn around for you. Increase your fluids, Protein and activity and talk to your team they will help you get over this hump.

I'm at 60 minutes a day exercise. It's really the same as I was preop.

Ladyt1021. I will be having surgery at Zeeland Hospital. Endoscopy and psyc eval to complete first. Then to wait for a surgery date.

Four weeks out and I had something interesting happen. It was 3 am and I had awoken which is normal for me. Everything was fine and I readjust to go back to sleep. Suddenly I feel something come into my throat. It burned like hell and I thought I was going to vomit. It literally choked me and I shot up out of bed. I didn't vomit but I belched a couple times and everything was fine. I worried about what would have happened had I not been awake? Would I have ended up like Cass Elliot?

Who is Cass Elliot? Are you taking medicine for reflux? That's what it sounds like.

Cass Elliot was a singer from The Mamas and the Papas who, by urban legend, died in her sleep choking on a ham sandwich.

I am not taking medicine for reflux. I haven't had reflux until last night.

I am :) I am on week 7 of my 12 week program.

I am in Lansing and I am in the middle of my 12 week pre op process.....

Are you at Sparrow? That is where I am having mine done.
