Insurance problems So I went through the the state site my health to do my insurance with bluecross and on my end it went throw payed my premium and from there I thought I had health insurance got my card in the mail and they send me my eop! I had to go to the hospital for reflux that same month, a few weeks ago I go to check my po box and see a bill from the hospital I was beyond confused had to call bcbs they said I don't have coverage I explain to her everything that happen and she called my health! My health still had I had coverage since July! My payment got lost in cyberspace I guess! They said they will refund me the payment but in order to have insurance I have to make July August sept payments or I have to wait to November for coverage but I would be taxed because I went without insurance for more than 3 months the lady at bcbs set up payment schedule ! They honestly won't let me be great and get my surgery! The only good thing they said was my deductible is only $100 so after I get through with my block test it will be payed! Oh wow glad she's gone I talk to the head nurse at the center and she more than likely since my bmi is over 50 and with bcbs I won't have to wait the 6 months and I have very bad sleep apnea and kinda told don't lose wait but don't gain into my preop diet because if I lose and go under bmi 50 I have to do the 6 months Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Okay you guys I lost my insurance coverage due to money problem or how my grandmother would say in between blessing, now the good thing is I don't owe bcbs of mi any money so I am always go back and because I went through marketplace they felt they didn't have enough information about my income so they canceled my insurance now because of the timing I can go back into enrollment no problem but here my issue I loss the money I have already put to my deductible now that loss I have to start all over I have pick a new insurance plan I still want my vsg but I'm getting very discouraged Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
