I'm 3 weeks post op and for the most part, I feel amazing! I'm steadily losing weight and keeping everything down, I'm walking more and more every day too. The past two days I've noticed a pulling feeling in my belly button area? It's pretty minor and it comes and goes... I was really paranoid about it possibly being a leak because I just started creamy Soups but I'm hardly eating and I don't even know if I'd go as far as to call it pain. Laying in certain positions or moving around I just get this weird little feeling in my belly button area. During early recovery I did have a lot of pain centered in that area but I started to feel completely better... why is it back? Could it be the introduction of food again? Increased walking/pulling something? Or could it be a leak?

I should stress that the pain really isn't persistent and I only get it when I'm in certain positions. It's just strange because I've started to feel totally fine and it seems like this third week this weird strain decided to pop up. At first I thought it was pain but I've noticed it's more of a pull so.. who knows. I hope someone else has experience with that because I'm a little worried atm! lol

I too have that feeling from time to time and I am 5 months post-op. I think it's scare tissue forming and our bodies are letting us know it.

Hope I'm right but if you're really concerned, call your doctor.

I had that same kind of pain when I had my gallbladder removed many years ago. My doc said it was scar tissue forming but I agree with @msjg46...contact your doctor if you're really concerned.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
