Hard Boiled Eggs

Does anyone have a way of cooking and easily peeling hard boiled eggs?

I've watched so many different YouTube videos, and no matter what I've tried, I always have a hard time peeling the eggs.

As I was struggling to peel some eggs tonight I thought....hey, my bariatric pal buds will have peeled thousands of eggs!!! What better place to get advice!!

I found the precooked/peeled eggs at the store last night and bought some. I didn't think they were too expensive and definitely convenient.

I buy them at the grocery store... no peeling needed.

You can buy perfect hard boiled eggs at the store now. I do mean perfect. Bright yellow yolks.

I don't know why but I can't bring myself to buy the precooked eggs. I know that they are fine but they just don't look right to me. I boil my own eggs, peel them, and take them to work. So, there isn't any difference. Oh well, I haven't been able to figure out why I have a problem with the store bought eggs.

Can anyone tell me how long it took for you to be able to eat boiled eggs after surgery? I usually boil my eggs and then place them in cold Water to peel them. Sometimes this works perfectly, however if you boil them too long, the peelings still stick.

Poach them. Add a little bit of vinegar it the water before putting the eggs in. As soon as the water starts to boil reduce the heat and voila best poached eggs ever! Dry them on a paper towel and enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback. I am 8 weeks out, so I may try a boiled egg now and see if it works.

I put eggs in Water, bring to a boil, shut heat off and cover let sit for 15 mins...shock with cold water

I always have hb eggs that are easy to peel

I received a tip from someone to put baking soda (1 teaspoon) in the water while boiling, I tried it, it did help with easier peeling. it's worth a try.
