As many shakes required per day that is an expensive option

Has anyone used this as a meal replacement pre or post op? Opinions?

I haven't. What is the nutritional profile? Aren't these the kind that are high carb?

What does your NUT say?

I hadn't thought about the sugar in it. That's a good point!

You really have to read labels to make sure they are bariatric friendly. Some Protein shakes are marketed to body builders and have high carbs, some are marketed to the elderly (also high carb), and still others are marketed to the general public (high carb). Anything you see advertised on tv or through multilevel marketing probably has high carb.

Two words: Premier Protein ... The best protein/carb ratio I have ever seen with lots of Vitamins and fairly affordable at Walmart and SAMs.

I've heard of Shakeology, but never had any of their products. Just went to their Web site and explored pricing.

Jeez Louise! Unless I'm misunderstanding everything, they cost $5 - $6 per shake -- for a 150 calorie shake that has only 16 grams of Protein.

Next lifetime, I'm coming back as a healthcare Protein shake-down mogul.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
