My 15 month old wants to lay on mommy :-(

I think she can sense that mommy is in a little pain and not to mention I've been away in the hospital for two days. Did anyone else have small kids when you had the surgery? How did you fair? I also have a 10 and 15 year old that have been a great help while my husband is at work. It's breaks my heart when she's grabbing on me to pick her up

Ya I have help so it's ok. But it is sad. We have an. Upstairs and the baby will want me to carry him down but I can't.

Or take him out the car seat today and I couldn't.

He sits on me n my chair and I hold him this way.

It's hard but he will not be damaged from it is what I keep telling myself

I have a 3,2,&1 year old. I'm 4 days post op today, and it is heart wrenching that my kids want me to get up and play, but we explained to them before I came home that Mommy was in the hospital, so I can't play right now. They seem to understand, because now they just ask to lay down in bed beside me. It is so sweet.

I am getting surgery in 3 weeks and have a 2 year old that still wants me to pick her up all the time. Im worried about her more than any part of the surgery. Shes small, only 22lbs but I think the limit is 15

I'm seven days post-op now and I will get comfortable, put a pillow over my stomach and have my hubby or one of our other daughters place her in my lap.

She did try and dive on me very early on and I had to stop her in her tracks, I felt so bad!

I have 13 mo old twins who love cuddling and laying on me. I was sleeved Mar 29 and whenever they wanted a cuddle my wife would pick up one or both and place them on my lap.. In bed, kept a pillow against my tummy for protection against kicks
