And when I noticed the pants lose I got on a scale n I had lost weight! Also u should not be negative. When was the last time u lost this much n five weeks? I'm a day or two ahead of u and I have lost about the same as u so u r on target Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. I'm a sleeved last post op 3 weeks and also a grad student in counseling. It would help u to maybe call your doctor and ask about a support group that is near u? You can find face to face meetings great where ppl can identify with u. I would also call him and ask if u can go in for a check up to ease ur mind and maybe make sure nothing is wrong. It does sound like more pain than normal. It is a huge adjustment. I am so tired and I feel overwhelmed with making sure I eat right n waiting to drink and if I am drinking enough. Everyday write down or video blog for ur personal record how ur feeling. Try to think of a positive thing to balance the list out. Record ur feelings. Ur thoughts. And then go back after a few days and see if the negative thoughts r less. If not read or listen to what u said and then u will have a clear picture why u r upset. Maybe u will see it's the pain u r upset over and not the surgery? If the doctor can help u with the pain then keep recording ur feelings and adding negative and positive thoughts. Keep going back until u see a shift. If u do not see a shift after u saw ur doctor and u still feel bad then u should take ur recordings or notes to a counselor and discuses them. Work through them. No need to change them because they r your feelings. But u should understand why you have them. Clear thinking and understanding will help u focus on goals for ur new future. It will help ur anxiety and give u support. If u need me pls contact me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. @@ausmith sorry I do not know how to quote. Yes it's the best! And cheap! My in laws use it all the time. We r n Middle East so it's convent for us to fly there. They have a web site U can make apt on. They r very professional and take care of everything on line and book ur apt. They can arrange ur hotel as well. But u can choose ur hotel. Depends. If u ever go there is a hotel that's basically in the parking lot called Sarah hotel. It's a typical rank hotel. Lol not the Hayat. Lol But it is two minutes to the main door and taxis services. The tail way is about five minutes. Google this: Bumrungrad international hospital Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. I live in the Middle East and we have real toilet on the floor. Like the squatters potty. It's a real toilet hole n the ground. Many countries have these except for America. If u ever build a house install one of these. I only use these when out n malls. No need to sit on another's pee. U just squat Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  20. Four days post op I was bringing a bottle of Water n two hours like nothing and one cup of broth would go down n minutes. I'm not having issues and I thinking did it work r not?'I would love to have someone who is further along come n and tell me later it is restrictive. I wanted to have this to restrict myself at least a little. Lol I have self control for now but who knows what will happen on a day I'm not strong Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. I just posted the same question in here asking the same. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I'm on day 7 and I can drink all my liquids and fill up a coffee cup full of broth and drink it as my lunch and not hurt me at all. I had expects maybe three r four spoons n I'm full. Then it got me thinking "oh no. Maybe it will not work for me!?!?!?" My luck u know I haven't weighed myself. I'm waiting for doctor office so I can be shocked. I hope I was thinking part of me got this to I can control me eating but if I can't hurt the first week and drink all I want will it work later? I hope so?? Maybe someone can post on here they experienced the same and now the r moving along they have some restriction? I hope so Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
