  5. I think there is something wrong with me. I can drink an entire shake rather quickly in one sitting and not feel sick. I am on puréed food and can eat a lot of puréed Soup without feeling full. I have an appetite that I thought I wouldn't have. Anyone else? Help! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  8. Dididada22 - I had my survey April 6th and can drink Water like you can. I thought something was wrong because I don't need to "sip" water but my Bariatric nurse told me that as long as I don't feel sick, it's fine. I do have to sip Protein shakes though. I think its because they are "thicker." Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  9. I had my surgery April 6th at Princeton/Plainsboro hospital. My head hungers are driving me crazy. I have only lost 7lbs and am frustrated because I thought I would drop weight quickly. "Waaah, waaah, waaah" Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  11. Jenmv - I don't have gas or reflux. I can have Protein shakes and yogurt shakes etc. I drink all day but I still need more "substance." I know it will get better once I start the puréed phase. Thanks for the egg drop soup suggestion. I think I can have that. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  12. Listen to your body. There is no need to suffer. That's why they give you the medication. The pain meds made me nauseous so I took Tylenol instead. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  17. I am 1 week post - op and I feel like I'm starving. Nutritionist wants me on liquids one more week but I don't know if I can handle it. I am anxious about this entire decision to have the surgery. I feel confused as how to move on, what to eat, how much to eat, etc. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  19. My doctor told me that weight loss slows down at the puréed stage but speeds back up when we start food. I'm only 1 week post op so can't verify what he said. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
