Hungry

I am 1 week post - op and I feel like I'm starving. Nutritionist wants me on liquids one more week but I don't know if I can handle it.

I am anxious about this entire decision to have the surgery. I feel confused as how to move on, what to eat, how much to eat, etc.

Can you eat like egg drop Soup and mix it up? Must it be Strictly broth? Will puréed veggies or puréed potato soup be acceptable? The week will go by fast and if you can make yourself drink you'll see that you're not that hungry. How is your gas and reflux?

I used to add Vaalia plain, natural low fat yoghurt to my Soups, and to tomato juice/V8. Stirred it really well, either in Nutri Bullet or with a fork.

Had to ease off tomato/V8 though as it gave me bad acid reflux.

I also was advised to add extra Protein powder to my liquids.

Somehow it helped, as that stage went quickly for me, thank goodness .....

Good luck @@staceyatw3

PS. In my nutritional post op instructions, it states that if I get really hungry, it may also suggest a quicker move onto the next stage.

I managed the liquid stage for 2 weeks, by adding stuff I mentioned above ....
