  2. I was sleeved a few days before u. On week four I had a stall. Lasted about 8 days. But I just said I wasn't going to weigh myself every day until I saw a difference n a pair of jeans I have. And when I noticed the pants lose I got on a scale n I had lost weight! Also u should not be negative. When was the last time u lost this much n five weeks? I'm a day or two ahead of u and I have lost about the same as u so u r on target Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I'm a sleeved last post op 3 weeks and also a grad student in counseling. It would help u to maybe call your doctor and ask about a support group that is near u? You can find face to face meetings great where ppl can identify with u. I would also call him and ask if u can go in for a check up to ease ur mind and maybe make sure nothing is wrong. It does sound like more pain than normal. It is a huge adjustment. I am so tired and I feel overwhelmed with making sure I eat right n waiting to drink and if I am drinking enough. Everyday write down or video blog for ur personal record how ur feeling. Try to think of a positive thing to balance the list out. Record ur feelings. Ur thoughts. And then go back after a few days and see if the negative thoughts r less. If not read or listen to what u said and then u will have a clear picture why u r upset. Maybe u will see it's the pain u r upset over and not the surgery? If the doctor can help u with the pain then keep recording ur feelings and adding negative and positive thoughts. Keep going back until u see a shift. If u do not see a shift after u saw ur doctor and u still feel bad then u should take ur recordings or notes to a counselor and discuses them. Work through them. No need to change them because they r your feelings. But u should understand why you have them. Clear thinking and understanding will help u focus on goals for ur new future. It will help ur anxiety and give u support. If u need me pls contact me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

They have a web site U can make apt on. They r very professional and take care of everything on line and book ur apt. They can arrange ur hotel as well. But u can choose ur hotel. Depends. If u ever go there is a hotel that's basically in the parking lot called Sarah hotel. It's a typical rank hotel. Lol not the Hayat. Lol But it is two minutes to the main door and taxis services. The tail way is about five minutes. Google this: Bumrungrad international hospital Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  15. I just posted the same question in here asking the same. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I'm on day 7 and I can drink all my liquids and fill up a coffee cup full of broth and drink it as my lunch and not hurt me at all. I had expects maybe three r four spoons n I'm full. Then it got me thinking "oh no. Maybe it will not work for me!?!?!?" My luck u know I haven't weighed myself. I'm waiting for doctor office so I can be shocked. I hope I was thinking part of me got this to I can control me eating but if I can't hurt the first week and drink all I want will it work later? I hope so?? Maybe someone can post on here they experienced the same and now the r moving along they have some restriction? I hope so Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  17. So I am on day 7post op. After surgery I was told I had a thick lining for a stomach and it took three hours to cut n seal. This was because I had a gastric ballon before the sleeve he said. Anyway now I'm on liquids and I thought I would be like everyone on here complaining I can't drink more than a sip. I can have a coffee cup full of broth no problem. And drink Water like nothing. Is this normal? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  22. Use a slow cooker crock pot to cook for kids. U don't have to stand in front of it. Ask someone else to fix their plates. The slow crock pot is what I'm using to fix meals because I don't have to be tempted while cooking Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. Ps ignore the self righteous ppl on here who seem to forget we had the surgery because we have issues with food and just having the surgery will not take the issue away. Keep posting any questions u have as some of us don't judge u. We know the struggle Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. U should see a nut that delivers food to u. I have a nutritionist that prepares my meals and delivers them. That's three meals a day and two Snacks. They r yummy n things I would never think of making. This will make u feel special n not eat boring shakes while everyone else is having nice things. Search for someone n ur area that prepares healthy meals from a nutritionist Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. Ur nut should lose her job! Telling someone this is wrong! We have issues with food and u can't just say eat ice cream! Uhhhhh some ppl. Dnt be tempted. Soft cheese, or the cheese on a stick is yummy. I love Greek yogurt Even a slim fast to get n the extra cals is better than an ice cream. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
